Team A is the lead exploratory unit of the Pompeii Research Project. Led by Lucia, the team is officially tasked with field excavation and radar mapping. In secret, its members operate a "Shadow Architecture" to manage the temporal bridge to 79 AD.
Role & Function #
Within the project hierarchy, Team A is responsible for the manual extraction and preservation of artifacts. Under Lucia's leadership, the team has achieved an "uncanny luck" in finding high-value targets. While Ulysses manages the direct contact with the past, Lucia manages the data, the presentation of findings, and the strategic "bargains" required to keep the project hidden.

- Lead Researcher: Ulysses (Primary contact with the past).
Conflict with Team B #
Team A is in constant friction with Team B (Team Quant). While Team A produces results through Lucia's strategic presentation of Ulysses' findings, Team B produces methodology without results. This tension eventually led to the forensic audit that threatened to expose the Lydian Stone.
