Snapshot #
Lucia is a modern-day supporting character and the primary counterbalance to Ulysses. A student intern and field engineer at the Pompeii excavation, she is quietly brilliant, grounded, and technically proficient. Unlike Ulysses, who hesitates at the ethical implications of interference, Lucia is the project's "moral accelerator," viewing the trade of blueprints for history as a fair and necessary bargain.
Biography #
Lucia entered the Pompeii project as an intern focused on ground-penetrating radar. She was the first to notice Ulysses' tampering with the site's data feeds. Instead of exposing him, she chose to join his "Shadow Architecture," using her technical skills to provide the necessary cover for their unauthorized research. She became the "public shield," presenting the team's miraculous findings to the world while privately feeling the weight of the fabrication.
